There’s still time to support WWHA!

From Amy Hagstrom Miller, President and CEO of Whole Woman’s Health Alliance.

This has been a stressful year for abortion providers, patients, and advocates like you. Our resilience has been tested and our reserves have been tapped. We want to thank you for putting your faith and trust in us in the fight against attacks on abortion. Together, we will reclaim the power and compassion of abortion care.

Friday is the last day to make a 2021 tax-deductible donation to Whole Woman’s Health Alliance (WWHA).

There are many uncertainties ahead. The Supreme Court cannot be counted on to deliver justice as they’ve left Texas’ Senate Bill 8 (SB 8) in full force. Day after day, we’re forced to turn away dozens of patients who need safe, quality abortion care from trusted medical professionals like ours.

In the coming months, we anticipate a decision in the Mississippi case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. There is a real threat that the Justices could overturn nearly 50-years of legal precedent, meaning Roe v. Wade would cease to exist. Without Roe, more than half of all U.S. states are poised to ban abortion, including Indiana and Texas.

This is a critical time in history and we need your support as we head into 2022.

The mounting attacks against abortion are grueling and the laws being passed blatantly ignore the needs of patients and the beliefs of the majority of Americans who want abortion to remain safe and accessible.

As one patient receiving care amid Texas’ SB 8 shared, lawmakers “don’t understand what families go through. They don’t understand the living situation of a woman who becomes pregnant, so I feel like, who are you to take that away from someone?”

WWHA knows that people have always and will always need abortion care and that’s why we are not backing down! Please stand with us as we prepare to take on the egregious attacks to come in 2022.
