Words of Hope to Keep Us All Going

As we look ahead to 2022, we reflect on the outpouring of support and kind words from abortion allies like you in 2021. You fueled our essential clinic operations and ongoing litigation efforts and helped WWHA and WWH staff keep their heads high during this difficult time.

When the news of Texas’ Senate Bill 8 (SB 8) hit airwaves, we heard from concerned people all over the country and world. Hundreds just wanted to say, “thank you” and “keep fighting.” And because of you, we did. We will be honest with you: 2022 may be the biggest fight for abortion rights in this generation. Yet you’ve shown our staff that they’re not alone – even when it feels like the odds are stacked against us.

You have been so crucial to our work, so we want these messages to inspire and empower our entire WWHA community – patients, staff, donors, volunteers, email subscribers, social media fans, news followers, and Texans. We’re all in this together.

“We can do this! Stay strong, stay compassionate and fight for the rights we deserve!”

“Abortion is Healthcare. Sending strength and love to all those fighting. If it can happen anywhere it can happen everywhere.”

“I saw some anti-abortion protesters outside the office. I wanted to do what I can to offset the negative energy they espouse. Please keep up the good work.”

“Behind all the women in Texas. Sending strength and courage from California. Women’s Rights are Human Rights!”

“I would stand in the streets of Texas for you now if I could. I am so damned tired of people trying to control our bodies. Please use these funds to keep fighting.”

You are focused on what matters: the people who deserve to have abortion providers in their own communities. With your help, we can continue to do what we do best – provide compassionate, high-quality abortion care to patients like these.

“Thank you for making my experience safe and supported. The staff were incredibly warm and caring. They allayed each and every one of my concerns and did their jobs with the utmost professionalism. I will never forget this place or its people.”

“The world is a better place because of [Whole Woman’s Health]. Their authenticity and compassion and quality care gave me nothing but solace in a time when I needed it most.”

“Thank you for your counseling during a difficult time in my life. I am grateful for the work you do and the way you support women and their individual choices.”

Let’s continue to lift each other up as we fight for a world where abortion care is accessible whenever and wherever you need it.
