Are you outraged by Texas’ near-total abortion ban that has been in effect for 22 days? It is not the first attempt to eliminate abortion access in the U.S. and it won’t be the last. Copycat legislation is already in the pipeline and the U.S. Supreme Court announced the first hearing in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health – a case that directly challenges Roe v. Wade. If Roe fell tomorrow, 24 states could immediately ban abortion outright.
Today is also the start of 40 Days of Life, a worldwide effort to end abortion. Anti-abortion extremists are getting more organized, funded, and cunning than ever, and they will abolish abortion everywhere if we don’t act now.
That is why we need the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA). This Friday, the U.S. House of Representatives will have a vote on WHPA, the first proactive bill on abortion rights being voted on in the House in 30 years.
We need your help to get WHPA passed.
The constitutional right to abortion is under attack, and Congress must VOTE YES and pass WHPA on Friday. Urge your representative to #ActForAbortionAccess and pledge their support for WHPA.
This vote could define the future of abortion care in the United States for decades to come, so we hope you’ll do your part!
Make your voice heard NOW by contacting your representative and telling them to VOTE YES on WHPA.
