Dr. Meera Shah has been a provider with Whole Woman’s Health Alliance since 2017 and served as Medical Director for the WWHA clinic in South Bend, IN. Dr. Shah joined Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP) in May 2018 as the Associate Medical Director, Director of Gender Affirming Care, and Director of HIV Prevention Services. She was promoted in July 2019 to Chief Medical Officer. She provides clinical services as well as clinical support to the Advanced Practice Clinicians at PPHP. She launched Gender Affirming Care services, Rapid Initiation of ART, Vasectomy and Centering Pregnancy at PPHP. Outside of her role as a physician, she lends her voice and expertise to being a vocal advocate through Whole Woman’s Health Alliance and the Physicians for Reproductive Health.
